What are your silk flowers made of?

Our silk flowers and artificial greens are made from wide range of synthetic, latex and other materials. Artificial trees often may have a real tree trunk with artificial branches.

Are your flowers submersible?

Yes and No. Any item should be tested before you start your project. Sometimes, flowers will bleed and/or fray once put in water. We do recommend using a water-resistant sealant flowers are going to be in water.

Can someone create a custom arrangement for me?

Unfortunately all of our arrangements arrive pre-made from our manufacturer. However, you are free to add to any of our pre-made arrangement to customize to your liking.

Are you able to buy just one - instead of the whole case?

At this time, most of our items are only sold in case pack quantities. This is to provide you, with the lowest possible price. Please also keep in mind that you also cannot mix and match colors for a case pack.

When We Ship To You

In stocked products usually ship within 2-3 business days. If a product is on backorder, we will contact you immediately. Backordered products will be shipping once back in stock. Once the product returns back in stock this will be shipped. If you are unable to wait, we can offer suggestions on substitutions for the product that is on backorder or refund your order.

Shipping Address Change

Once an order has shipped the shipping address cannot be changed by you or by our customer service department. If the package will not reach you because of an incorrect address, it will be returned to us as undeliverable. Customer will be responsible for all shipping charges which will be charged using the payment information provided at the time of checkout for your order.

Delivery Options

Silk Plants Direct ships the most economical way, whenever possible. All domestic shipments will be made via UPS or FedEx Ground. Products can be express shipped via Air for an extra fee. A shipment quote will be calculated and emailed to the customer for approval - customer must approve via email or by phone. Delays due to weather, the carrier is not responsible and no refund will be granted on shipping. The majority of our product can be shipped via Ground. However, large trees and custom plants typically exceed the shipping limits for Ground. When an item is over-sized, a shipment quote will be calculated and emailed to the customer for approval. Once the shipment quote is approved the order will be processed.

Damaged Shipments & Claims

We do our very best to ship your item(s) so it arrives to you safely. However, there are instances where product is damaged or lost in transit. If shipment is by UPS or FedEx, incorrect order/missing items and/or damages must be reported to Silk Plants Direct customer service department at info@silkplantsdirect.com within 7 days of receipt. Damaged merchandise must remain in the original master carton with all packaging for UPS or FedEx inspection and instruction as to disposition. No credit will be allowed unless authorized by customer service department. If shipment is by common carrier, LTL or dedicated truck, shortages and/or damages must be noted on your freight bill at the time of delivery. Please contact the carrier to file a claim.

Returns - All sales are final for sale items

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason please contact us at info@silkplantsdirect.com for a Return Authorization number. You must notify us of your return within 7 days of receipt of the product. When returning the items repack them in their original box, secure the product in place so it does not move freely within the box, include a copy of the invoice with your return, clearly mark the box with the Return Authorization number, properly insure the product and ship the product via traceable mail. When returning an item the customer is responsible for all return shipping and insurance charges. Upon inspection of the returned merchandise a credit will be issued for the purchase price of the item(s); minus any shipping costs incurred on the original shipment to you. If the item you purchased had free shipping, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Non defective items or refused orders are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Item(s) must be received in original condition (including all original packaging and tags); items returned in used, altered or damaged condition will not receive credit. C.O.D returns cannot be accepted. Returns must be received by us within 21 days of Return Authorization in order for a credit to be issued.


Sizes given are approximate sizes measured at the widest point. The height is measured from the bottom of the grow pot or base to the top of the foliage.


Decorative containers are not included unless specified.


Upon approval we can arrange for samples.

Payment Terms

Customers without credit approval payment can be made via certified check, bank money order, wire transfer (cable remit), MasterCard, AMEX or Visa.


Credit may be established by completing our standard credit application. Orders will not be processed until payment terms have been established.


Cancellations on standard catalog items may have a charge assessed to cover work in progress or completed. All verbal cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Custom order cancellations will not be allowed once work is in progress.


This web site uses every electronic and procedural safeguard to protect our users' information. Sensitive credit card information is sent via a secure connection using industry-standard SSL encryption that protects data transmissions.

How are artificial flowers, plants and trees measured?

Any flower, plant or tree that come with a pot are measured from the floor (including the pot) to the tip on the top. Flowers, plants and trees that do not include a pot are measured from the base of the stem to the tip on the top. However, please keep in mind that our plants and trees heights are approximate. As they are handmade, they may vary a few inches in height. Floral arrangements are more exact as these are pre-arranged and do not change shape after being created.

Are you able to buy just one - instead of the whole case?

At this time, most of our items are only sold in case pack quantities. This is to provide you, with the lowest possible price. Please also keep in mind that you also cannot mix and match colors for a case pack.

What is the clear “like-water” in the bottom of the vases?

Many of our silk floral designs are arranged using our special "clear acrylic water" which creates the illusion of fresh cut stems in water.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments through PayPal plus all major credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, Discover & American Express. We do not accept payment by check, money order or C.O.D.

How do you care for your silks?

Our flowers, plants and trees require very little maintenance. We recommend that floral arrangements and artificial plants should be dusted much the same as you dust your home or office. Most artificial plants can be wiped with a moist cloth if necessary.

Can your silks be put outdoors?

Although the plants can be used as outdoor decoration, it is not advised to hang or leave the flowers, plants and/or trees in direct sunlight. Most of our products are made out of materials that will eventually fade. They do last longer if put under the shade. However, we do stock plants and trees designed for exterior use. Although they do cost more, their colors won’t fade as fast.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time we only ship within the United States.

We offer volume and wholesale discounts exclusively to the commercial trade including designers, architects, businesses and government.
