Christmas is a special time when we spread around joy, happiness and cheer. Most of us celebrate our beloved festival with friends, family and dear ones. But there are many who are less fortunate and are deprived of Christmas gifts, a majestic tree and most importantly the spirit of the holiday season.

The students of Albion Elementary School realized this and tried to add some color in the lives of 80 people residing in the Mount Royal Villa nursing home in North Royalton. They creatively worked to make Christmas cards and adorned them with silk poinsettia flowers which were delivered to the nursing home. The joy that the residents felt when reading the card and placing the artificial poinsettia on their bedside cannot be expressed in words. Artificial flowers and silk floral arrangements are indeed lovely pieces of decoration to ameliorate home or office interiors. Apart from that, these ornamental beauties are channels to spread goodwill and harmony. Just imagine the satisfaction you would experience when you give a gift to people staying in nursing homes or senior lining homes with wonderful artificial plants. You are sharing love and affection with this gesture and are creating a precious memory for those unfortunate people.

Now you might be thinking that wouldn’t it be better to gift real plants or flowers instead. The disadvantage of real plants is the fact that it takes efforts to maintain them; if proper care is not taken, the plants wither away. On the other hand, silk plants and artificial trees do not require any kind of maintenance besides dusting and cleaning periodically. Silk plants stay for a longer period of time and are treasured as golden memories. Also, silk flowers assortment can be some of the best gifts to present someone on special occasions such as weddings, Christmas and Valentine’s Day.
